Windows 7: Can't log in to some websites?

Well my subscription was free and came with my laptop, I already cancelled it from renewing because I was planning on searching for a free anti virus software anways.

So If Microsoft Essentials will keep my PC safe, I couldn't care less about losing TrendMicro

I guarantee you will be happy with MSE. Besides catching viruses, it barely affects computer performance and boot times.

I downloaded MSE and it told me I need to uupdate it, so i clicked the update button, and it began the update process then stopped abruptly. Is this maybe a compatibility issue because I currently still have TrendoMicro installed?

Uninstall Trend and see.

I suggest you get rid of trend Alot of people had problems with 2 A/V installed.
