    IE8 new tabs

How do I get IE8 to open up new tabs everytime I open up a new window?

start a new tab by clicking on the square next to the current tab, then you can type a new address...

if you mean you want a new tab instead of a new IE windows to open everytime you click on the IE icon, then i am not sure if you can do that at all unless someone can tell me otherwise

I know I can open up a new tab by clicking on the little tab next to the large tab. That's not what I'm asking.

    Hello Skostro,

It's pretty much the same way here in OPTION ONE of the tutorial below for Vista. If you set them like it is in the screenshot below in Windows 7, then it will open with new tabs for you. :)

    Hope this helps,

let us know if the above works, it would be interesting to have IE opens another tab instead of anther ie window everytime you clik on the icon.

If your clicking on a link use the Middle button of your mouse rather than left click see whether it opens in New Tab.

    Hope this helps,
