IE hangs when loading itself or even a new tab...

    Heres the thing

my internet explorer in vista was doing this for months and months and months, maybe nearly a year so i was patient till win 7 came out and went out and bought it so i could do a fresh install and have everything work freshly instead of re installing vista to eilminate the stupid ie problem

Anyway, now my windows 7 is doing the same crap and im pissed off..Its been fine for nearly 2 months now it just started to happen.
What happens is when i click the Ie at the taskbar, or a new tab in ie once loaded, it will hang/freeze for round 5 seconds then open the new tab

When clicking ie button it will load into ie and just when its about to load the home page it will hang and then respond like above.

It is stupid and i thought vista was just getting buggy. My windows 7 is only 2 months old on my pc.

Rest of pc is still responding while ie freezezs up so its only a ie issue..

What could it be anyone know where to start?

    thanks

    Moe

Hello there and welcome to Seven Forums!

Have you tried checking you add-ons? They might be conflicting eith each other. Try this.

Internet Explorer - Enable or Disable Toolbars and Extension Add-ons

or maybe it is a problem with your JavaSSV Helper BHO add-on which is useless because it is part of an old java installation.

    thanks for the welcome
yes i have disabled all plugins except the microsoft ones and the adobe shockwave flash one... i doubt it would be the shockwave flash as i installed that since i first installed win 7 and never had issues.

when you say java add on do you mean the shcokwave flash by adobe ?

    Hello there!

Have you tried viewing your add-ons in Run without Permission?

Glad I could help! I suggest that you check whether that windows live add-on is important or else you might have problems later on.
