    internet explorer not responding

so recently, windows internet explorer has been not responding and needing to be restarted. It keeps saying it shut down unexpectedly. This happened numerous times as I was looking at images on google, as i click on "view image as full size". What can I do to make this stop? I have firefox and actually prefer it, but i dont want there to be any problems now or down the road

Ok so first obvious question, if you prefer FF, why don't you just use that?

Secondly, I would run a good virus scan program and this Malwarebytes.org to rule out viruses and spyware.

Thirdly, there is a raft of reasons for that error message and consequent shutdown and it is pretty hard to diagnose without going through a lot of methods. Hopefully there are other members who can offer solutions. A quick google does come up with a number of things you can try :)

i do use FF for the most part, but if i were to use IE i dont want any problems.

I have AVG, i thought that covered maleware but i may be wrong

I'll try to look for a solution for my specific error then. it mostly happens if a tab isnt fully loaded and i click it, or when i try to open a pic on google or something
