Talking about kicking in an open door

I guess it's because you are using IE8.

It's my nature.......don't like it??..... go and eat some garlic frenchy

Yeah, I figured it's IE8....just can't figure out why, it can't be related to the graphics driver because it's ONLY occuring in IE8....all the other graphics transitions are fine.

I don't even know how to read dump files

I wouldn't delve to deep. Try reinstalling it. I've had nothing but troubles from IE8. Either on Vista or on win 7. Vista won't even let me install the final build over the RC telling me there's a newer version installed.

(that's dutchy living in paradise for you btw:))

I was running IE8 on Vistax64 with no trouble at all......Win7 (with IE8 embedded) is a nightmare.....the crashes are so random too, sometimes I am able to browse for hours before a BSOD, other times it happens as soon as I open IE.

So frustrating!! Guess I am going to have to install Mozilla or something else.

There is nothing wrong with Firefox, I use it always unless I can't get a page to show correctly which unfortunately happens occasionally.

Agreed, It's actually an amazing browser but I wanted to give IE8 a decent run......seems that will only happen if I use vista though.
