    IE and Firefox keep crashing

My internet browsers keep crashing and its making me sick. I have the latest in both IE and Firefox. IE doesnt crash as often as firefox, lets say 1 time every 5 mins for IE and multiple times a minute for firefox. I have did a clean install of firefox with the same result. Any ideas?

    Thanks

Sorry that you are having problems

    Try this
    Tools
    Internet options
    advanced
    reset.

You will lose all add on's but they can be installed again later.

    Make a full virus scan
Download malwarbytes and check for spyware.

You could look in the action center, see if find any references, and view the tech details like I have in the screenshots posted here, maybe it will tell you what is causing the crash.

Hmm, since its both, i'm thinking possibly Java or Flash maybe the problem.

Do you have Java and or Flash installed?

I have did a full virus scan, full scan with malwarebytes. Yes both flash and java installed. I have checked the action center with nothing but troubleshooting tips. I am running 3.6 firefox and IE 8. I am trying firefox in compatibility mode, it picked Windows XP sp2. So i will give that a try for a while, and see what happens. thanks
