Google Chrome 5.0.322.2 Available for Download.

A new release of Google Chrome is now available for download, bringing to the table fixes for a range of problems which survived past the previous development build. The Mountain View-based search giant kicked up a notch the Dev Channel flavor of Chrome, and is offering early adopters Build 5.0.322.2 not only for Windows but also for Mac OS X and Linux. As far as the Windows version of Chrome Build 5.0.322.2 is concerned, testers will be able to notice that the latest copy of the open source browser no longer crashes when a theme points to a nonexistent image, according to Google Chrome’s Karen Grunberg.

I do not think the browser comes 'with' extensions. Although you can get some here.

I love how Google is pumping these out and putting major numbers on each release. They will be at Google Chrome 12 in no time.

Each browser has its own way. Firefox follows the x.x.x, IE follows a simple single number, Opera is x.xx, Safari is like IE, Chrome follows IE/Safari.

The fact that they are 'pumping out versions' well, each major number bump usually has a feature with it (extensions for example).

Besides, its a number. Who cares?
