    ok, really, is this EVER going to be fixed?!


    when closing IE I get the "internet explorer has stopped working" error

    this is getting retarded

    I have CEIP disabled, all updates ect.

    im using 32-bit IE on 64-bit 7 if it matters. since adobe still doesnt have a 64-bit player

    anyone?!?!?!?!

    Hi Scott;

    I suspect if you went into event viewer (type eventvwr in search) and went to the windows logs>application tab you would find many critical errors. Errors have red in the left hand column.

    You are looting for mentions of app hang, app crash, etc. They are there. You need to not the event ID and source code of them. If the event ID=1000 and the cource is 100 (application) you probably have a DEP problem.

    DEP, or data execution prevention , prevents apps from launching in protected memory space.

    Let us know what the event ID and source are

    let us know if you need help

    I too experience this all the time, but its not Internet Explorer that is the problem. On almost every occurrance the faulting module is flash10d.ocx.

    This used to happen to me all the time on Windows 7 64-bit on my Studio XPS, so its definitely not an Xp problem, so this has never actually happened on my Xp machines.

    Anyhow, this has ceased to occur on my new Sony Vaio.
