Disk Cleanup can delete Temporary Internet files. How effective it is I don't know. I use a third party cleaner, CClearner.

Click on the Computer icon on your desktop > right click on Drive C and select properties > click the Disk cleanup button. Disk Cleanup will analyze your disk for files that can be deleted. Make sure Temporary internet files are checked; the click OK

OK. I'll try that.
BTW, my theory about cleaning out my history and solving the caller id stopped working was wrong.
I never saw that message yesterday but it was back again today so I cleared my history and then opened another browser but it's still popping up.
I wish I knew why it's here one day and gone the next then comes back again.

In IE8 Tools/Internet Options/General/Browsing History/Delete... has a special box which you can UN-check to NOT delete passwords. However, passwords have a mysterious way of disappearing sometimes whether or not you're clearing cache.

Getting yellow triangle over network icon. Some sites load, some don't
Hey, The little network icon on the taskbar shows a yellow triangle with an exclamation mark in the middle. Sites like facebook don't load. However, I have tried clearing my cache. This momentarily fixes the issue as it prompts the facebook login page just fine, but after I log-in, it doesn't...

Network Icon does not display the correct menu
When I click on the Network Icon, the pop-up menu says only 2 things: 1) "Currently connected to xxx" or "Currently not connected" and 2) "Open Network and Sharing Center". It does not display "Dial-up and VPN" nor "Wireless Network Connection" so naturally I do not get presented with a list of...

Changing the Icon for sites pinned to taskbar in IE9
In IE9 you can pin your favourite websites to the taskbar. If it is a large commercial site it may have its own Icon and that is displayed in the Taskbar. However you are meant to be able to change the icon, so for sites without an icon that just display the MS "e" symbol you can design a specific...
