Flash + minimize video= browser freeze

now ive had this problem on XP before, but this has only recently been happening again. when i play video (usually from blip player), i like to maximize it, but when i minimise it again, the whole browser freezes for a few seconds. the fix use to be to turn off hardwear acceleration but that is not working. does someone know what the problem may be?

What browser are you using?

If you haven't yet, try the following:
Try a different browser and see if the problem pops up there too.
Update windows.

every browser, and of course i have every update.
