    BT Internet

A friend has been told that BT Internet is not compatible with Live Mail. This seems unbelievable; has anyone else heard of this?

Im on BT Total Broadband. Never heard of an ISP blocking a program. Have you checked his settings? Try another program to make sure its either the settings or the first program.

I use BT broadband and have no issues,, in fact i think they would be breaking some laws if they blocked access to live mail ?

yes that's cleverly hidden and can be confuzzling

over on the top right theres a paintbrush a folder with a cursor and a blue question mark , simply click the middle button that looks like a folder with the little cursor and click "show menu bar"

Re-instated the toolbar as suggested after which I corrected his SMTP & POP 3 settings and he can now send & receive emails. Many thanks for help.
