Internet Explorer 8 stays in WORK OFFLINE mode

    hallo,

Whenever I start my Windows 7 (32 bit) and open Internet Explorer 8 it always stays on WORK OFFLINE mode.

No matter how many times I try and change it, it won't change to WORK ONLINE.

It is extremely annyoning. How can I change it so it stays in WORK ONLINE mode?

    THanks for the advice! :)

Open Regedit and navigate to the following key.
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Current Version\ Internet Settings
Look in the right pane. There should be a DWORD value called "GlobalUserOffline". Make sure that its value is set to zero.
Also make sure that in the IE "File" menu, "Work Offline" is not checked.

Does this happen with other browsers also? Check with Firefox/Opera/Chrome.
