It is interesting to see how HTML5 video affects the (possible) development of 64-bit flash. I mean, do we need flash x64 when HTML5 becomes a widely used standard?

IE as my primary, and Opera as my secondary. Hate Firefox. Just another opinion.

I sincerely hope HTML5 takes off and we can get away from Flash and thus, get away from Adobe. They had their time at the top.

Lol, and nothing wrong with that. I've also tried IE (most recent version) and also Opera. I really must try Kari's suggestion of New in Version 6. It does look pretty awesome.

Maybe so; but the understanding of the user is what feels good to that user and which browser suits that user's wants, needs, and desires.

IE is a perfectly good browser; it gets the job done. However, I could not deal with the slow loading of pages in past iterations. I can deal with the slow initial loading of FF because after that, the page loading is fast. Does that make FF a better browser? For me it does - wants, needs, and desires.

Far be it from me to want to change your or anyone else's mind, but there is much, much more to consider than how fast a browser loads. However, if you are happy with FF, then so be it.

Oh I absolutely agree; that was just an example of user preference which is not necessarily based on facts. That particular preference could be an over riding factor if the user is on dialup as I was when I began using FF. My whole point is that wants, needs and desires are subjective and may or may not be based on facts.
