Nice attitude. I'm already over it, seeing as how I'm currently running Windows 7 Ultimate.

Personally, I could care less that MS decided to not offer IE9 support for XP. They did the same thing with IE8 and no support for Win 2k (2k only supports IE7 and lower).

I'm just curious why they decided to pull the plug on XP knowing full well that the corporate world is going to continue using XP for probably another 3-4 years or more, and not because they want to, but because they HAVE to.

I just think MS should do something for all the users / corporations out there who are stuck with XP for the time being.

Thank you!

Isn't it odd that when people hear a speech from Obama that America can be a great country again, if we all chip in and do our part to help the economy, they stand up and cheer. But when it comes down to actually playing their role in that scenario, they balk? Go figure. Selfishness is destroying America.

Selfishness and greed, and greed is what is really the determining factor in MS's decision in regards to IE9. They can say whatever they want about about IE9 needing a more modern OS; what they're more concerned about is forcing people / corpporations to purchase Win 7. All they care about is the cash flow.

Take gaming consoles, for instance. Sony's PS3 comes outfitted with many items that MS forces everyone to purchase as "accessories" for their 360. Why do they do that? Its because they're greedy mf'ers who only care about money.

I totally agree. Like I said earlier, Microsoft could set a determining criteria for the struggling businesses to stay up to date with IE, rather than forcing them to upgrade to Windows 7, or go out of business just because they cannot keep a secure web browser. Why can't Microsoft be a part of the solution, rather than the problem?

I'm glad someone around here wants to be a part of the solution. I appreciate your posts.

How will not being able to afford Windows 7 or not getting IE9 for XP put these small businesses out of commission?
