Outlook 2007 - prob. sent mails are stord only locally

Hi, I would like to know how to set up Outlook 2007 to saave sent emails not just on my computer but also on the server.

For example, when I sent a mail from outlook it arrives to the recipient and the delivery proccess is OK, but this mail remains only in snet folder on my computer. On the server (when logging through my mail using Horde/Squirrel mail these emails sent through Outlook are not here.

When using Thunderbird, this problem goes away and sent messages (from Thunderbird email client) are both on server when accessing using Horde mail and also when using Thunderbird.

What should I change in Outlook. Please note that I am using POP3 protocol and I have already checked the "Leave a copy of messages on the server" under Delivery in Advanced settings tab (INternet Email Settings)

Thanks for any advice in advance.

That's the default behaviour, for Outlook to store sent messages on your own PC. If you want them to reside on your POP3 server, you'll need to include yourself as a recipient when you send them, and then you'll see them as incoming mail - so it's a bit clunky.

By the way, the setting to "leave a copy on the server" refers to incoming mail only.
