Troubleshoot a problem with Adobe Flash Player

Hey all. I'm here to try and solve an issue with Adobe's Flash Player

The issue started since forever ago, when I did a clean install of Windows 7 Pro x64 on a brand new hard drive. Since then, my Action Center log reads "Adobe Flash Player has stopped working 26x time(s), last occurring on " five minutes ago. I can literally guarantee the browser will freeze within five minutes. I have over a week running IE8 with no add-ons. I have already done the started uninstall/reinstall of Flash player to no avail.

I'm wondering whether this is normal (I have come to think so), or if it seems excessive (some people think so). For reference, I've run AVG, SuperAntiSpyware, Spybot, Windows Defender and HijackThis! and have yet to find a virus/worm/trojan/malware.

To rule out any problems with IE and Flash together -- unlikely I know -- could u perhaps test with another browser - FF or Opera?
