How to delete a folder in Outlook 2010

I am so frustrated with Outlook 2010 right now and it doesnt behave the same as in Outlook 2007. I have the luxury of doing it in two VMware and keep making clones until I get it right.

    My killer question is :

I have two accounts on Outlook 2010 now.

    1. First account I use the auto thing to get my gmail using my username and passport and it created this FIRST account that allow me to sent/receive email.

    2. Second account I use a .pst file from Outlook 2007 using the do 'data files' tab and now I make it my default and I want everything save here.

Now, I want to delete my first account, but if I do, I cant use it to sent out email anymore on my second account.

How do I do all these and only have one account?

    Thanks for helping.

I have solved my problem! hahahaha

After making so many copy of Vmware trying to get the right setting, I have done it!

I hate using IMAP. It makes everything so slow!

I now use pop3 on my Outlook 2010 for Gmail.

If I have to sycnronized thing, I might as well use the web version of Gmail.

So in my case, I use pop3 cause thats all I want.

You have to configure it manually doing pop3. Then there is this section to tell it you want to use a existing .pst file that you have got from 2007.

NOW I am seeing only one account and it can sent/receive. No more of those funky folders that on gmail.

Hi have a similar problem, but the related folders are Pop3 so I don't have that option. I had already created a folder/pop settings and was attempting to import some data from another Outlook but ended up with two! And the latest is it seems now to be the default even thought I have not actually set all the pop3 settings etc, very frustrating! From the limited info I can find out my only option seems to be to uninstall and then install the whole application. It's not the end of the world as I only installed & imported the data ten days ago. But I think there must be a simpler way of resolving the problem? Can anyone can come up with an option? :) Cheers BC

Found a partial answer, going to Control Panel, Mail and changing the default*. Still looking at the 2nd Folder, anyone got any idea?
