I don't think so. Most forums will automatically log you off after a set period of time of inactivity for security reasons.

When you log in, check the remember me box and accept the cookies. I stay logged in for weeks at a time, even if I close and restart my browser. But I make sure to refresh a page almost every day.

Are you running any cleaning or optimization programs?

It seems to happen at times without any intervention such as cookie cleaning etc. I have observed that too on different systems both Vista and Win7. It is not a big deal logging
back on and the reason is certainly not "inactivity" -

Cookie cleaning will do it and Yahoo will automatically have you log on every two weeks.

Cooking cleaning is the culprit. If you want to delete cookies, selectively delete them and don't delete cookies from sites you regularly visit/use.

Hallo lordvader, if you use ccleaner to do your browser cleaning you can select which website cookies you wish to keep

I also get logged off this site if my account is inactive for a couple of weeks
