Everyone will want the Firefox extension they've been using so eventually it will take a minute to load if the disk is busy. :)

But it should have SyncPlaces instead of using 2. Right now I have to use LastPass and XMarks to get the same results. Plus I have to use an online account instead of my own ftp site. But speed heals all wounds. :)
Yeah, I'm using LastPass and Xmarks as well. SyncPlaces would be awesome, but I can deal with it as is.

BTW, Chrome's built-in sync actually works pretty well for bookmarks, preferences and themes. Once they add passwords, it will be almost perfect.

I feel kind of Leary(as in Timothy Leary paranoid) about using an online account for my passwords and bookmarks provided by the same people who want to track my movements. It may be a placebo, but I used that unique ID destroyer thingy:

UnChrome - Anonymize Google Chrome - UnChrome removed the unique ID from Google Chrome

I don't know how different Chrome is to program from Firefox but if the XMarks guys could port theirs I think we should encourage the SyncPlaces guy to port his(unless maybe he hates Chrome.) I put a suggestion already in the mozilla AddOn comments section, but I think it's being ignored.

Good question. 5 is the older build...meant to be a bit more stable. However, I've been running nightlies since 4.***, so I would recommend moving to 6. Most of your extensions should work by now. Google is pretty good about making sure that extensions work, even in nightlies. I haven't had a single browser crash in over a month.
