Glad to hear you got it sorted out :)
Peace
Hi there,
I'm having the same problem.. and I've tried the resolution provided..
Trying that way I can't load ie as it looks like it's half missing, not sure if it's still iexplorer.exe but that's not there..
I removed the folder and tried to add again in Windows Features but makes no difference.
There's a few gadgets that look for ie and won't work with anything else.
And since I turned it off in Windows Features I can't readd it.
Want to load it again so any help would be great..
Not a good idea to add or remove folders in Windows Explorer. Instead, try this:
UNinstall in Windows Features, Reboot, Reinstall in Windows Features.
Control Panel/Internet Options/Advanced/Reset...
Heya..
Thanks for the response..
I removed from the Windows Features and this was around a month ago..
Now I'm wanting IE back.. I go back into Windows Features, tick IE and reboot.. it's still not working..
I removed the folder just incase Windows Features saw the IE folder and did nothing, I was hoping it would scan and see no IE folder and fresh install..
Please help.. someone..
Hello K1rTu5, and welcome to Seven Forums.
If you have a retail Windows 7 DVD, then you can do a repair install to fix this without losing anything.
Hope this helps,
Shawn
I know its fixed but just install IE9 Beta
Hi All,
Well I ran the repair option Brink stated.. and then once back into windows I went itno Windows Features and enabled IE again.
Rebooted and there we go.. it's back..
