Agreed. I've used the last few incarnations of Opera, and hear a lot of things like that (on their own forums even...yet a lot of the "issues" they talk about there are about "....well, I have 100 tabs open and it is lagging my pc..." ....duh.) yet haven't experienced them at all. An occasional rendering issue, but that's the ONLY problem I have ever seen. I use Opera and love the speed, which is why I leaned away from FF. I also do not need the add-ons, which I know is one of the selling points of using FF.
I even put Opera Mini on my new phone yesterday just to check it out. Pretty slick. Although, anything is better than a phone's native browser, lol.
Back to the point. It's impossible to say which is better. It all depends on what you use it for, and what you like. It's the same way with all of the "best AV" questions.
It's user preference IMO. If it works for you, then use it. If not, give something else a test-drive.
I use Opera - I find Firefox really slow in comparison.
<<Opera has spell check, it will underline questionable spelling as you type. It will not suggest corrections (that I am aware of).>>
If you right-click the underlined word the spell-checker will offer suggestions.
- Which one is faster in loading pages? On my comp chrome way faster then Firefox,Opera and IE when it comes to loading pages.
- Do they have Spell Checker? Chrome, Firefox and Opera all have spell checkers.
- Which one has more customization abilities? Firefox is made for customization.
- Which one has the least bugs? All the big browsers these days don't have many bugs. But some webpages will work only work properly on IE and Firefox or sometimes just IE.
- Are both of them supported by Kaspersky 2010 Anti Virus? I dunno
I use Google Chrome.
To be brutally honest, it's really personal preference. Opera has less support for some pages then IE & FF. BUt then again FF is the more customisable browser of the 3.
