Which is a better Web Browser, Opera or Mozzila Firefox?

I have used Internet Explorer for about 4 years and I have had enough. It is just horrible, in my opinion. I decided I want to change Web Browser, and through some research on the web I have found that Opera and Mozzila Firefox are the two best Web Browsers out there.

However, I don't know which one to download! I need help in deciding which one to get, so can you guys please answer these questions:

    - Which one is faster in loading pages?
    - Do they have Spell Checker?
    - Which one has more customization abilities?
    - Which one has the least bugs?
    - Are both of them supported by Kaspersky 2010 Anti Virus?

Just wanted to say that I didn't download either Opera or Firefox; After reading a relatively interesting and thorough article I have downloaded Google Chrome and so far, it is fantastic!

I can only give you my personal experience, becasue you'll have to try both to see which is better for YOU.

All these answers are "for me":

Opera loads pages a bit faster. Of course I don't have my FF loaded with addons, so, your mileage may vary.

Opera has spell check, it will underline questionable spelling as you type. It will not suggest corrections (that I am aware of). FF has spellcheck as well.

Firefox has by far more customization abilities. I find Opera is great "as is" , but many who try both FF and Opera will decide on FF because of the many addons.

Again, for me Opera is steady as a rock. FF has bugged out on me requiring a restart, but it's not to be considered buggy. And again, this may vary if you run a ton or addons.

Both should play just fine with Kaspersky.

Opera is my default browser, so definitely give it a try, but most will answer FF as it has a much greater user base.

FF has addons and can be customized.
Opera is fast but it has some rendering problems with some sites (a lot of bugs too )

I always wonder when I see such a remark, as I use Opera almost exclusively, and have never found a bug beyond the occasional page that doesn't display correctly because it isn't coded to current standards. I'd have to disagree with saying Opera has a lot of bugs, ask any regular Opera user, and they will say the opposite.

I would download all of them and use them. Then see which one suits your personal tastes and needs. They're all great browsers. Some have features that are better than the other some not. Depends on which features are more important to you as well. I personally like FF because of the ability to add any kind of plugin and extension. I like the customization of FF. Chrome is faster on some sites, but I think it's on par with FF in speed. I haven't used Opera in a long while. It's pretty fast when I did use it, but I didn't like the layout. But that's just my personal taste. Nothing wrong with Opera on a technical level as far as my experience was.
