    IE Not Connecting to Internet

My IE 8 has stopped accessing the internet (running W7) and displays the message shown below when I try to connect. I have tried a few different sites and keep getting the same message. Firefoc connects no bother and another PC connected to the same router works fine in IE 8. I have the original W7 disk and have tried running a repair but this makes no difference. Is there any way I can download IE 8 and re-install. From looking at the microsoft website there is no option to download the W7 version as it ships with W7. Have tried the Vista one but does not work. I have stopped using the 64 bit version but that makes no difference either.

Hello !! Welcome to SF !!

Try few steps and see if that works

    Start
    | iexplore.exe -extoff it will open IE 8 without any add-ons and see if that works.

    In your Internet Explorer Goto

    Tools
    | Internet Options | Advance | Reset then see if that works.

    Hope this helps,
