    Firefox Reset ?

    They are both the same option, its just that he starts one through command prompt.

    Might just be easier to get FEBE backup extension and X-Marks bookmark backup extension ?? Backup to some where safe like separate HDD or Flash drive ??

    Can you please give more detail on what it is you need to do? Do want to SAVE your bookmarks and settings or get rid of them ??

    I understand, don't worry.

    The easiest method would be to backup your bookmarks and reinstall FF.

    Was something wrong with your Firefox that prompted you to reinstall? What lordbob said is the easiest solution if you want to save your bookmarks and to reinstall FF.

    Hannibal001 I want Firefox to look like a new install Restore the Default Settings in Firefox Without Uninstalling It - How-To Geek I can backup, When I restored and choose Import HTML.it made duplicates of my bookmark maybe I should use your backup method first ?

    Ok, this thread feels like we're going in circles. So you don't want to uninstall Firefox, but you want it to look like a fresh install.
