    Apple's Safari 5 released

Apple - Safari - See the new features in Safari for Mac and PC.

I admit, its pretty quick. Its even giving Chrome on my install a run for its money. Not even Opera has accomplished that (on my install) yet.

I really like it. I prefer this over Chrome.

Still sticking to Opera, but I'm leaving Safari 5 installed on my PC, just because it's fast and neat.

I tried it for a couple of days and overall, I have to say that I like it. Nice GUI, very fast, and still a bit 'buggy' in Win 7

I will stick with Google Chrome. Safari is nice, but there is one thing that absolutely turns me away and that is the fact that you cannot change the search providers in Safari. I always search with Wikipedia and not being able to set Wikipedia as a search provider really annoys me.

I don't think anything will turn me away from Chrome. I like its opensourceness too much. And I'm just used to the omnibar.

Supposedly Safari 5 is a whole 3% faster than Chrome 5, rofl.

Well, the more I use Safari 5, the more impressed I am with it. The GUI is clean and intuitive and it's 'glitches' seem to have settled down now. I tried going back to Opera and IE, but they now seem cluttered and 'kludgy' to me. I shall post again with my continued travels on Safari. :)
