    Java not working for FF,Chrome, Opera (32bits)


    Hello,
    Please help!

    I recently upgraded to win 7 ultimate 64 bit and java is not working in chrome, firefox or opera... however Java IS working for IE 32 bit and 64 bits and Firefox 64 bits

    so in chrome n ff 32bits java just doesnt load and im stuck in a blank page..what could it be?

    I have tried all methods i can google but to no avail

    nyckk, welcome to the forums.

    When you installed Java, did you install both the 32 and 64 bit versions? Unless you are using the 64 bit versions of IE8 or Firefox, the 32 bit version of Java is all that is needed.

    i gave up and reinstalled windows... now it works

    That's one way to do it :) If it wasn't for you saying IE 32 bit worked, I would have suggested what Stormy did. Oh well, alls well... A Guy

    Shame you had to do a complete reinstall, luckily you got it working now.
