Brand new system and this is the first and only OS install

    Antivirus: Avast free

These crashes all point to hardware. Please use these instructions to find out what that means and to figure out what to try.

    Thank you.

I made a post here at the forums of the retailer I bough the components from:

Powercolor 5850 OC causing BSOD - Aria Forums

So far no-one's really said anything useful
I'm suspicious of the manufacturer overclocked graphics card

My graphics card is doing soemthing wrong.

Found these discrete ATI ACE log files which detail some of the errors.
I can't figure much out from these but it starts with this file not 'merging' because it is missing.

    see attachments:

Do you have another video card you can use? Try testing another card in your machine and see if the BSODs stop.

Ok I've now figured out it's a problem with multiplayer Battlefield games. The crashes now happen in BF2, BF2142 and BFBC2 online ONLY. Singleplayer runs fine.

I've tried running the games in compatibility mode for xp but this has changed the graphics in strange ways in BF2 and made me lose my EA account info, soldier account info and other weird crap like that.

So what it boils down to is something is not agreeing with Punkbuster? ATI CCC? EA & Windows 7?

All steam games run fine maxed out 1080p hours on end including Bioshock.

The Catalyst Control Center has been known to cause problems. I recommend uninstalling it.

Not solved. Still happening. Blue screen on any battlefield game online. Must be some sort of blue screen caused by punkbuster.

    Please upload new dmp please:
Go to C:\Windows\Minidump and copy all of the dmp files to the desktop. Select all>right-click on one>Send to>New Compressed folder. Then attach the zip file to your next post by use of the paperclip icon in the advanced editor.

    Thanks man.
All other games work perfect. Bad company 2 singleplayer works perfect for hours with no crashes. It's only multiplayer battlefield 2, 2142, and bad company 2
