Windows 7: Low Virtual Memory Errors

Okay it appears that you do have to remove the win7 machines from the domain and add them back even after upgrading the domain controller to server 2008R2. I had two other machines doing the same thing, after upgrading the DC's they continued to show the low memory errors. After removing them from the domain and adding them back, they have been problem free (for 2 days).

Spoke too soon! My comuter had the low virutal memory error again this morning. Haven't heard from the other two people running windows 7 yet.

Guess my next step is to raise the domain function leve.

I have a user who is having the same issue. I tried the unjoin and rejoin - to no avail. They have a dell Studio machine w/ 4 gig of ram on Win 7 64 pro. Additionally, I have 4 others with the exact same spec who don't have the issue...

Maybe I should try imaging one of the other machines ontop of this one? Any other ideas?

my other two users started having the issues also. My system doesn't do it nearly as often, maybe down to once every 3 or 4 weeks now. The other user is every day, like mine was. The third user's has started acting like mine is currently. I'm thinking it may be something with office 2010's licensing service. I noticed that one of the machines event's logs was filling up with office software licensing service events. When mine started to clear up it seemed to coincide with me activating office 2010. I activated office 2010 on the third machine at which point it seemed to clear up as well. Activating office 2010 on the second machine has proven to be a difficult tast due to microsofts licensing changes.

My client wants to replace the physical machine and refuses to accept that it's not a physical issue..

if you've got identical machines that are functioning properly I'd at least try the clone strategy first.

virtual memory
My windows 7 machine has 16 Gb of RAM memory, an SSD (vertex 111Gb) disk and 2 WD (1Tb) harddisks. To save space on my SSD, I was advised to remove my virtual memory, which I did several months ago. Everything worked fine after that, even Photoshop. This week I started working with MAGIX which...
