    BSOD


    I have a custom built computer and i just recently installed Win 7 32bit. Every so often i get random/different bsod. I cant even upload the damn file cause it says i dont have permission???? Please help!

    I guess your 2 dmp files didn't get collected...did you run the scripts as administrator?

    This crash was caused by IDSvix86.sys which is part of your Norton application. It is a known trouble maker. I would remove it and install microsoft security essentials in its place.

    Thanks Ken for getting back??? is this a known issue for win 7 in general? i know sometimes im watching something on the net a video i get a blue screen!

    Norton, as well as most third-party anti-virus programs and firewalls are well-known for causing problems in Vista and 7.

    Be sure to run this Norton removal tool: ftp://ftp.symantec.com/public/englis...moval_Tool.exe
