Crash help, Reboot and select a proper boot device
I am new here and not sure exactly where to post this, but feel free to move it. I am also relatively inexperienced with computers.
I bought a new Asus K60I-RBBBR05 laptop 20 days ago from Best Buy. It's been magical. Earlier this morning, I attempted to access a website my friend had pointed out to me (Influence Project), although he did warn me that it might take a while to load. It was taking a while, so I waited a minute or two. I noticed my cursor was being very jittery and sluggish. Don't know if it's relevant. I was about to close that tab in my browser when I got a BSOD. I didn't get a chance to read it because the laptop shut down about 5 seconds after getting the screen. Now when I turn it on, I get the message "Reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected device." If I press ctrl-alt-del I can try to start windows, but it won't start either normally or in safe mode. Windows 7 came with the computer, so I don't have an installation disc, and I haven't yet had the opportunity to back up the recovery stuff. I'm sorry if I'm not clear on anything, but I'm kinda nervous. Please, let me know if you need more information. I'm desperate.
