    BSOD memory_management


    Hi all. Me and brother built this pc on saturday 24th july 2010.
    Its all installed correctly but i seem to get the BSOD every now and again. Sometimes happens 3 times in an hour, other times the comp runs for hours.

    Its a phenom II 1055
    Radeon hd5850
    Win 7 64bit
    4GB pc3 1600MHZ
    550w coolmaster PSU

    Not to sure what else is needed but please ask if there is anythin. thanks in advance.

    Oh and im no whizz with comps i assure you please keep it simple hehe

    Hello,

    Well the Dump are pointing to Memory lot of crashes and different reasons so let run Hardware Diagnostics (Memory and Hard Drive) follow this link for instructions Hardware Diagnostic !! « Captain Debugger

    And i see you both McAfee and Norton 360 ?? Just keep one both are well known for crashes it will be notorious if you have both. Just pick one. Check this article for removal process BSOD vs. Internet Security !! « Captain Debugger

    Hi thanks for the speedy reply.. seems mcafee came free with my GFX card so installed itself.. its gone now tho..

    I have changed the memory sticks to different slots on the MB and since then i havent had any crashes.. The mem test has come up clean along with the disk check.. so fingers crossed its ok

    Altho i did get one BSOD to do with the NTFS.sys that was this morning
