Not ACPI Compliant? blue screen mystery
I realize i am using an old mobo, but when I first installed a new copy of Windows 7 Home Premium and had no problems.
now... it will show the windows startup screen then stop and go to a blue screen that says that my system is "not ACPI compliant".
If i push the reset button on my case, the same thing happens. But if i turn off my power supply then turn it back on and boot, everything is fine.
Not sure if this has anything to do with it, but around the time it started doing this I was having trouble installing flash player and had to disable my norton 360 in order to get it to install.
Since it is fine after a power supply shut down, it makes me think that it is not doing something properly during shutdown.....
Has anyone encountered this problem or know a fix?
