    Hi Guys, It was memory culprit after all. Had my Corsair RMAed and got the new sticks today. Inserted them, ran memtest 4.10 - Pass. And running my pc now with no errors.

    Very good, chetansha; the is great news. I hope you removed that old driver as JC recommended. If not, that old software will come back to bite you. Thank you for reporting back with your solution. That helps us and helps others. Happy computing. :)

    I made a fresh install of win 7, never installed KIS again, instead using security essentials from Mcsft.
    Now let me try to overclock the setup with new sticks.

    Very good and thanks for reporting back. Good decision regarding MSE. Be careful with the overclocking. :)

    lol just did OC Genie on this board and windows keeps restarting. disabled OC Genie and all is well now. will fiddle with it later.
