Windows 7: Windows Failed To Load

Here is an update to my situation. After learning that my audio drivers were out of date (I sed Driver Dectector just to see what it saw as out of date), I ran my MB installation cd and thats when I smacked myself in the head. When I first ran it, I had just clicked the AMD all in 1. Like a fool, I took all in one to mean all drivers that were needed. Now I could plainly see the Realteck audio drivers and the usb drivers. After I installed them, I noticed a massive improvement. Windows loaded fast and crisp. I then installed my graphics card drivers and this time there was no BSOD when installing. Afterreboot everything worked smoother them before.

This morning I started my computer and got a BSOD then after restart got another. Third time it loaded into windows. On loading into windows I noticed two things. One, the USB drivers, which I had installed the night before, installed themselves again. It could be that I had disconnected my headset last night but I am not sure.
The other interesting thing was that many of my program shorcuts were missing. When I checked them in that start menu, they were there. When I checked the recycle bin, I found the shortcuts. Somwhere in the two bsod this morning, my computer moved the shorcuts to the recycle bin. How does this occur?

Here is my BSOD report and the minidump that ocured this morning.

Sorry for my delayed update, but its been a busy week for me.

Things have improved. I have not gotten any BSOD while windows is operating and almost all programs run fine.

My problem now is when I start my computer and load windows. Usually, I get a BSOD or windows will lock up on the "windows is loading" screen. After it reboots, I might a get another BSOD or another lock up OR Windows will load.

I also note that when I play Starcraft 2, every once in awhile, the game will freeze up and crash. Blizzard has related that this is most likely due to outdated drivers.

I have gone to the limits of my understanding to update my drivers. I know that I have many that are out of date but I do not know how to update them or delete them, as in the case of the Brown Printer drivers.

I would appriciate any help you can give. Thank You.

This morning I have been working on updating my drivers. However, just now, I got a new BSOD relating to my memory. Could this be the cause?

I also still have questions about the drivers.

After doing some exstensive searching, I have come across a couple of problems updating my drivers.

1. AtiPcie.sys 5/5/2009 - AMD PCI Express (3GIO) Filter
This driver reads in the sheet as not up to date. But when I look at it under Device Manager, Windows tells me it is up to date. After going to the AMD forums, I have learned that this difference in driver date has happened before, but that windows is correct in saying it is up to date. So as far as I can tell, the driver is up to date.

2. Broadcom and Brother Drivers.
I want to be specific in saying that this computer was put together with all new parts that were not pre-owned ( Contacted Newegg just to make sure). I have never in my life owned a Brother Printer or a Broadcom network card or wirelss card. I am clueless as to how these drivers are on my computer and dumbfounded on how to get rid of them since they appear nowhere excpet in the regestiry.

3. I am having general trouble with the other drivers as well, since when I visit the companies websites that have the drivers, all the drivers I can find are refereing to a hardware component I do not have.

I have updated my chipset drivers and my motherboard drivers as well as all other drivers relating to my hardware.

At this point I am wondering if i should reinstall Windows 7 since I have no other idea on how to uninstall some of these drivers.

Navigate to C:\Windows\System32\Drivers. See if you can locate those drivers there. If you can, rename them from .sys to .bak. Reboot and they will not load.

Thank you Carl. I have created s system restore point before I being to turn make the drivers not load.

So far I have turned off the Brother and Broadcom drivers. In the last 4 days I have only gottenone BSOD when loading and one while playing a game.Since the issue of my outdated drivers remains, I will continue to weed out the other drivers. So far though I have seen a big improvement.

Sorry for the delayed response. Thank you for the advice hope it works out!

Attachment 94121So after a few days of disabling some of the drivers that I do not use I am still getting BSODs. Here are my recent dumbps. I hope they can provide some clarity as to which drivers are causing the problem.

I do have a question concerning disabling drivers. In my driver folder (c/windows/32/drivers) all but a couple of my drivers are listed as up to date.
However, in my my driverq_v, numerous drivers are listed as out of date.
I am wondering as to which one is correct and why I have such a difference.
