Reading my minidump:

Hello! Can anyone out there please read my attached minidump file, and let me know why my Win 7 64 bit OS computer suddenly crashed and rebooted? (Also, it has at times randomly locked up - solid. Simply one minute moving the mouse, the next, can't move mouse or keyboard. This will be browsing the 'Net, not a game, and there's not heat issue, etc. Four year old machine, used to be XP; hardware is all fine.)

Thanks!

IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (a)
An attempt was made to access a pageable (or completely invalid) address at an
interrupt request level (IRQL) that is too high. This is usually
caused by drivers using improper addresses.
If a kernel debugger is available get the stack backtrace.
Arguments:
Arg1: fffffa80098cba10, memory referenced
Arg2: 0000000000000002, IRQL
Arg3: 0000000000000000, bitfield :
 bit 0 : value 0 = read operation, 1 = write operation
bit 3 : value 0 = not an execute operation, 1 = execute operation (only on chips which support this level of status)
Arg4: fffff80001cc6121, address which referenced memory

    Timestamp: unavailable (00000000)
    Checksum: 00000000
STOP 0x0000000A: IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

Usual causes: Kernel mode driver, System Service, BIOS, Windows, Virus scanner, Backup tool, compatibility. The report indicates ntkrnlmp.exe as the cause which is very unlikely.

Suggested Solutions
Uninstall Mcafee (use the Mcafee uninstall tool) and replace with Microsoft Security Essentials. Malwarebytes and The windows fire wall. And of course ASACPI.sys. should be updated.

If the problem is not resolved, I will look into other drivers, etc. But I hope this information will solve the problem.

I find it best to give the most probable causes and then give more if needed; no need to overwhelm you. Rest assured your computer will be repaired.
