    Welcome!

Have you tried a startup repair? Be sure to run it at least 3 times.

No worries, we'll get this sorted out.

Boot up the DVD, and open a command prompt. Enter bootrec /rebuildbcd.

    See if that works.

    another message pops up

    BootRec.exe-Corrupt File
"The file or directory C:\Boot\BCD is corrupt and unreadable.
    Please run the Chkdsk utility."

i ran Chkdsk on Command prompt and it says it found no problems

Try opening a command prompt and entering the following:
    Code:
    ren C:\Boot\BCD bcdold

    bootrec /fixboot

    bootrec /fixmbr

    bootrec /rebuildbcd

the first command states "the file or directory is corrupted and unreadable"
the next three complete successfully and the last asks "Add installation to boot list?"

Try entering del C:\boot\bcd then, in the command prompt. Then run the bootrec /rebuildbcd command.
