Irql not less or equal bsod

Just had a buddy build a new rig for me and am getting a BSOD that is really bothering me as almost everything I have is brand new. Im running windows 7 ultimate 64. Did ram test with several different programs and all passed, any other help is greatly appreciated. Dump and PERFMON attached.

Hi and welcome

I hate to say this but 5 of the 7 were bugcheck1 caused by severe memory corruption. I dont know what application you tested with, for how long you ran it, or if you ran the memory sticks one at a time.

To test yours

Download a copy of Memtest86 and burn the ISO to a CD using Iso Recorder or another ISO burning program. Boot from the CD, and leave it running for at least 5 or 6 passes.

I used memtest86 as well as the windows memory testing program, ran them for about 6 hours each with multiple passes. I did not however run them one at a time, both times it was with both stick in.

Remove Avast with this tool: http://files.avast.com/files/eng/aswclear5.exe

Try updating your Realtek drivers. One of these 2 links should work:

That sounds encouraging!

I will go ahead and ask the mods to mark this thread as solved. If you get more BSODs, click on the Report Post button at the top, and ask them to mark it as Unsolved.

Thanks for the report!

I have been getting this message on and off for a while whenever I play any recent-ish games for 10 minutes or more. Usually I just stop playing and don't really mind but Rome II just came out and I want to play it...lol. Anyway I have uploaded my crash dump, any help will be much appreciated.
