In Windows Explorer, navigate to C:\Windows\Minidump and see if there are any files in that folder.

If you have gotten a BSOD, but the Minidump folder is empty, check to confirm that your system is configured to create a minidump.

Hello ! Welcome to SF !

App-crashes can happen due to multiple reasons. Reboot the System in Selective Startup Run Selective Startup using System Configuration make sure you disable the security software as well.

Try this free video stress test: FurMark: Graphics Card Stability and Stress Test, OpenGL Benchmark and GPU Temperature | oZone3D.Net

    FurMark Setup:
    - If you have more than one GPU, select Multi-GPU during setup
    - In the Run mode box, select "Stability Test" and "Log GPU Temperature"
Click "Go" to start the test
    - Run the test until the GPU temperature maxes out - or until you start having problems (whichever comes first).
    - Click "Quit" to exit
Follow this link and post us the Logs https://www.sevenforums.com/crashes-d...tructions.html

    Hope this helps,
    Captain

Your crash may not have created a dump file. Good job on setting your computer up to create mini dumps.

Follow the instructions in the link below. You won't be collecting in any dump files; but you will collect additional information about your system that may help us.

Captain Jack posted while I was typing. Follow his instructions and he gave you the same link.

so i followed the steps for the "Run Selective Startup using System Configuration"
i disablled everything under the services tab and restarted the pc
then i went on to disable everything under the startup tab
but the appcrash problem still consists for this particular game

when i try to conduct the video stress test i get the following message:

FURMARK REQUIRES AN OPENGL 2.0 COMPLAINT GRAPHIC CONTROLLER. STARTUP FAILED.
NVIDIA GEFORCE 6 AND HIGHER OR ATI RADEON X1000 AND HIGHER ARE GOOD CHOICE.

thanks capt jack for the input

    Hello,

Seems like lot of Appcrashes. First step i would recommend to uninstall Bit Defender some Internet securities are known for Appcrashes. Make sure you run the Removal Tool How to uninstall BitDefender to clean the left over entries. Uninstall DAEMON Tools Lite it's notorious for crashes.

Run a Hardware Diagnostic (Memory and Hard Drive) follow this link for instructions Hardware Diagnostic !! « Captain Debugger

    Hope this helps,
