    Windows 7 Hang Event 6008, Need some help

    Hi,

    I have recently encounter computer hangs and sound jammed when im asleep playing music from the computer. After getting help from another forum, i updated on my realtek audio and network drivers and finally, it was the first time that my computer could continue to run after i woke up, continuing playing the music. I wanted to make sure that there would be no more problems so i let it run for another day, just playing music and went to sleep. This morning, again everything was fine so i decide to give it a final run and went out.

    However, when i reached home, i found out my computer had hung for about 6 hours with the sound jammed. There are also yellow or pinkish purple squares near to the sides of the monitor during the hang. I restart and took a look at the event viewer and found the following error message:

    - <Event xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/win/2004/08/events/event">

    </EventData>
    </Event>

    This was actually the error message that displayed the time of hang which was around 2.39pm which was the time of the hang when i saw upon reaching home.

    I hope that someone can understand the problem and kindly provide me with assistance. Thanks in advance. :)
