    Win 7 64bit freezing up

windows 7 is freezing up completely, cant move the mouse or anything, its really annoying the heck out of me. its been happening for weeks. i have replaced my old video card with an evga gtx 465, i have tried my ram in all different slots, i have tried both sticks by themselves, i have ran memtest, prime95, i have ran data lifeguard to test my hard drive... i have updated drivers, i have put a box fan next to my comp to see if it was overheating. and there are no minidumps...

Did you run a antivirus scan and download and scan with malwarebytes?

Did you go to search and type event viewer and look for errors.

    How about a clean boot.

I did not know that it started with the install. Did you do a clean install or upgrade?
An upgrade: you did not have to reinstall programs.

Thats fine, then. An upgrade would have warranted a reinstall.

If the clean boot and other suggestions do not work, try in safe mode. If you report results tonight, I will see it tomorrow.

it seems to be getting worse, i can now log onto wow and it freezes withing about 10-15 minutes. i can play wow and watch a video and freezes within just a couple minutes.

but i can just surf the internet without it freezing, its just on games/videos, mainly netflix and gom player, i dont know if it does it on videos on youtube or anything alike.
