Programs Crashing When I Start Them

This problem started about a month ago with Windows Live Messenger. Since then i had no problems until last week when my game recording program WeGame began to crash when i start it up. Now today one of my favourite games Counter Strike : Source has started having the same problem.

When starting Windows Live Messenger i am given the Windows Live Messenger has stopped working.. then it closes.
When starting WeGame it usually crashes when i log in, with the same error.
When i start Counter Strike : Source it says Hl2.exe has stopped working and needs to close.

Please someone help me because this is stopping me from using some of the most important programs i use.

I have tried running as an administrator, in compatablility mode, restarting computer, reinstalling all 3 programs, using CCleaner and Windows Cleaner, closing other applications, disabling antivirus, scanning for viruses and many other things.

    Any suggestions? Thanks, Ryan.

    Did you run your antivirus
Did you download and scan with malwarebytes.

    After the above
Try clean boot and see if it helps
How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7

Go to event viewer to try and determine the cause.

The important part of the event log is the error code 0000005
    Which means
The most typical causes for the ‘0xc0000005: Access Violation’ error are: corrupt registry, malware, faulty RAM, faulty drivers, incorrectly written, installed or updated software or even Windows security features.

Unless you have expertise with the registry, I would do nothing, in that area, at this point.

I would make a thorough antivirus scan and download and run malwarebytes.
    http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam.php
I would take a ram testDownload memtest86 and test RAM RAM - Test with Memtest86+

The ram test must be run for at least 6 passes, over night is suggested.

From the tutorial that I gave you

    1. With the CD in the drive, or the USB key inserted, reboot your computer. If Memtest does not automatically boot, go into the BIOS and change the CD drive or USB drive to be the first to boot.

    2. Memtest will immediately start testing as soon as it boots. No attendance is needed.

    3. Let it run until at least 7 passes are completed, or errors are found (whichever comes first). The longer you run it, the better.

The test is not fool proof, once is definately not enough. Yes several more times.

and if you find and error. You have to run each one separately, to find out which stick.
Then you must take a good stick to test the MB slots.
