If those are the latest drivers from ATI (which they appear to be), it looks as if that's it.

dang its back! after my last post I was bsod free until recently. I have been running on 2 sticks (4gig ram) since then - been afraid to put the other 2 back in - but memtest cleared all sticks in all conifigurations! (mobo only allows certain slots to be used if not using all)

Windows media center crashed today so I was doing a recommended sfc / scannow to see if there were any probs. that seemed to cause my latest bsod - I immediately ran memtest afterwards and it started throwing up errors, funny tho that I ran that for 7 hours on these sticks with NO erros the last time - could something be corrupting my memory meaning the memory itself is not corrupt or am I in trouble?

Still could be the mobo/ram config but I really want to rule that out and thought I had

anywho, I've attached latest dumps maybe it could be something else fingers crossed!

    Thanks as always guys :)

Could heat be the cause? Test your temps with Speedfan, after some heavy usage, such as watching a movie.

    Hi Jonathan,

I don't think it is the temps they seem fine I had been running speedfan for a while and the max temp I've seen on a full load is ~42c. Normally it is around 34-36c. I have noticed that one of me backup HD's has gone missing in windows nor does it seem to be detected in the bios.

I'm also wondering is my video card the culprit here. I may rma my ram and see if that helps but means I'm without a computer for probably a month while the retailer sorts it :/

    Thanks.
