    BSOD this morning, Annoying!! Help?

    Hey guys,
Just signed up for your expertise.

    Here is the info:

    Problem signature:
    Problem Event Name: BlueScreen
    OS Version: 6.1.7600.2.0.0.256.1
    Locale ID: 1033
    Additional information about the problem:
    BCCode: 19
    BCP1: 00000003
    BCP2: 85101688
    BCP3: 00000000
    BCP4: 85101688
    OS Version: 6_1_7600
    Service Pack: 0_0
    Product: 256_1
Files that help describe the problem:
    C:\Windows\Minidump\082510-19952-01.dmp
    C:\Users\Ben\AppData\Local\Temp\WER-34023-0.sysdata.xml

    This happened on:
    W7 32bit, AMD Phenom 9500 Quad-Core 1.8ghz.

8.00GB ram installed, 3.25GB Usable. (I just put the extra two 2gb sticks in before the bsod, I know its pointless running them in 32bit bit I was planning to do a clean install of 64bit tonight.)

    Nvidia GeForce GTX 9800/9800 GTX+

It happened last night whilst refreshing the windows user experiance rating, a small box poped up from the tray saying the graphics driver had been lost and recovered, that was after the screen blacked out for about 1.5 seconds.

Any help wound be great guys thanks
    Ben

Are the sticks the same specs? ie same timings/voltages?

Did you bump up your Northbridge voltage at all since all your dimms are now occupied?

Yes the Ram sticks are the same that was originally in it.

No I didn't, I am no where near that good with computers. What do I have to do?

We really need the actual DMP file.

If you wish to have others assist you with your computer's BSOD symptoms, upload the contents of your "\Windows\Minidump" folder. The procedure:

    * Copy the contents of \Windows\Minidump to another (temporary) location somewhere on your machine.
    * Zip up the copy.
    * Start your own thread in the "Crashes and Debugging" section of the forum and attach the ZIP archive to your post using the "paperclip" (file attachments) button.
    * Briefly describe the problem history and circumstances in the same post. Somebody will attend to your query as soon as possible.

Go into the BIOS and increase the RAM voltage slightly - read your motherboard manual for more details on how to use the BIOS to change voltage settings.

Also remember to follow these instructions, which include the minidumps that Ken (and me) would like to take a look at: Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) Posting Instructions - Windows 7 Forums

It's hard to tell you exactly what to look for without at least knowing your motherboard manufacturer, or if it's a pre-built machine etc (pre-builts often have a locked BIOS that don't have these options)

Knowing the motherboard model would be even better.

Each BIOS is different and so too is the layout/wording so I'm hesitant to tell you go 'hog wild' raising the wrong voltages etc

But you would looking for something like NorthBridge /VDDNB under the Advanced section.

We still need the .dmp files for analysis, unless you prefer us to just guess at your problem...
