BSOD BCC 116 upon changing screens within game or video.

Hi guys, this is my first post ever @ SevenForums :). I've had so many great tips from reading SevenForums, but this problem seems to need a bit more help than just reading and researching..

So, I started getting this problem when I first started playing StarCraft 2.
I would get nvlddmkm.sys BSOD 0x116 when it finishes loading the game screen, jumping from lobby to a game, or just about anything when the game tries to load up a new screen. Right before it lands BSOD, it momentarily freezes the screen, and the screen blinks about 4~5 times with each time the screen coming back to normal with mouse able to move around, and then BSOD. One time it BSOD when I put Hulu video to a full-screen. Right when it goes to full-screen, it crashed just like as if when the game was loading into another screen.

These are the things I have done to try to correct the issue:

    1) Running SC2 under OpenGL mode
    2) Running SC2 under Windowed mode
    3) Cleaning drivers both using a program and doing it manually by going through system32 and sysWOW64
    4) Checking the stability of the processor and the memory x5 hrs minimum on Prime x4 cores and memtest (stable)
    6) Cleaning out the computer and dusting the parts off
    7) Running Furmark x1 hr (stable)
    8) Repeatedly uninstalling and installing nVidia drivers
    9) Setting up GPU fan @ 70% with increase upon temp detection (During game, highest temp reported <70, during Furmark <80)

And I can't seem to spot the issue. Here are a couple of things that gave me errors:

    1) Running Driver Verifier on nVidia drivers - BSOD (IRQL) even before loading into Windows (read some comments on SevenForums and supposedly I don't really run Driver Verifier on graphic card drivers?)
    2) BlueScreenView shows red on dxgkrnl.sys, dxgmms1.sys, ntoskrnl.exe, nvlddmkm.sys

What's going on? What should I do to fix this problem?

    Additional Info:
    Win7 Pro 64bit Retail
    Q6600 3.2ghz 400fsb x8 (stable)
2gb Corsair + 2gb Crucial 1:1 with cpu (reseated upon detecting this problem; channels correct)
BFG GeForce GTX 260 MAXCORE OC
    All drivers up to date

All of these are BC116 of course the one thing I do notice is that they are all caused by the DirectX portion of the video driver. When you re-installed the video driver did you remove the old one completely?

First of all, thank you for the quick reply :)

I did Program Uninstall on nVidia drivers and I went around and manually removed the files that were nv*** that were dated and labelled as nVidia drivers.. I read in another forum that I can just go about updating the directx, and when I ran one of those driver cleaner programs I hoped it cleared out those DirectX driver portion. Is there a way for me to go about and manually delete those files and reinstall the driver?

I did driver removal, reinstall, tested Furmark (which doesn't cause any errors strangely), and downloaded DX Runtime from Guru3D and installed over it. Interestingly, that DX installed fine without saying "your system is up to date at this moment" kind of message. I will post more updates if anything changes.

Got BSOD again. Same situation, where the screen tries to pull a full-screen scene in SC2. Same stuff- dxgkrnl.sys in BlueScreenView. Is it possible that this may be a hardware problem, or is that unlikely? Please help.. this is starting to drive me nuts @_@

    *knock knock* knock on wood.

When I was checking the BSOD history, I noticed that I started getting BSOD on June 15, which was the nVidia's driver release date. I've cleared my drivers and installed 197.45, a couple of versions back of nVidia driver. No BSOD's yet- and I hope to stay like this! :)

I'll let you guys know of any updates.

After downgrading the driver, it was fine until today- two errors, both just simply freezing my computer, and not giving any BSOD. Same situation as before, as the game finishes loading and pulls a full-screen 3D stuff. Any suggestions? Please help @_@.

Cable, you may have to experiment with the Nvidia drivers. I ended up with the fourth one down the list for my card before I got it right.
also, please upload your latest dump.

Dump file attached. Disregard the old nVidia driver version as I'm currently trying to experiment with various versions of nVidia driver files to see if it will stop the BSOD error. So far, no luck..
One thing I noticed is that it seems to crash more likely if I play the game for an extended period of time. Remember, the game does not crash while I play the game, but it only crashes when it passes a loading screen to load up a full screen of 3D game.
