Windows 7: 0x0000001e BSOD New build

01 Sep 2010   #11

Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit

I am starting to think maybe I should just do a clean install of Windows 7 or maybe just a repair install to see if it helps with any of the problems. Any suggestions out there?

gdrv.sys still blamed for one of the BSODs - if you have already uninstalled the software then you need to disable it by the following procedure.

Save this program to the desktop:

Right-click on it -> Select run-as-admin.

Once loaded, go to the Driver Tab and untick the box beside gdrv

Then re-boot.
The following out of date driver also needs to be removed/disabled - you can use the above method too if you wish.

If you wish to do either then go for it, the Unknown Modules in my last post could be an indication of OS corruption.
