Windows 7: Bsod while exiting game

The first step I would actually do if I was in your case is to run the game in Compatibility Mode

I believe that doing this has in deed lessened the crashes I was having with Quake III Arena Demo which is an 11 year old game.

If this does not fix the problem, it might be an incompatible video driver problem, DirectX blah blah blah sort of stuff or some other hardware trouble.

Team Fortress 2 doesn't need compatibility mode - it runs on the still up to date Source Engine from Valve.

The dump files say the problem was directly related to the PDAnet driver - and unless more problems occur I believe the driver to be the only "weak point"

I already have. I wanted to see if usb tether was faster, it seems a little quicker, but obviously crashes my system, so barnacle for me.
