BSOD, any help is much appreciated

So after doing some minor tweaking with my system, overclocking it to 2.4 from 2.13 and doing new install from windows vista 64 and going to Windows Ultimate 64 bit. I've been encountering quite a few problems, particularly memory dumps all over the place rather when I'm playing Starcraft II (which happens quite often) or just letting my system run overnight.

    *updated info*
    - What is the age of system (hardware)?
The system is from 2007, only upgrade I have made is the hard drive from about that time, along with the ram. And I just added the video card I'd say about a month ago (worked smoothly in Vista 64 bit).
    - What is the age of OS installation (have you re-installed the OS?)
PC came with Vista 32 bit, upgraded it to 64 bit Vista about a year after that. And just recently upgraded to Windows 7 64 bit not even a week or so ago.

    So here is the error:

    Problem Event Name: BlueScreen
    OS Version: 6.1.7600.2.0.0.256.1
    Locale ID: 1033

    Additional information about the problem:
    BCCode: 24
    BCP1: 00000000001904FB
    BCP2: FFFFF880046A26E8
    BCP3: FFFFF880046A1F50
    BCP4: FFFFF880012A78BD
    OS Version: 6_1_7600
    Service Pack: 0_0
    Product: 256_1

I'll attach the dmp file as soon as I get around these read permissions. I've tried opening windows explorer "as admin" and a bunch of other various solutions as well, even attempted to copy and paste it to my desktop, zipping them, which yields another error or should I say same error but differently displayed "file not found or no read permissions"

So If anyone can provide any suggestions on how to get them to open or even attached so I can provide them for you, I'd be extremely thankful. As I'm pretty much stumped and have been hassling with this PC for over 2 weeks now.

    *Edit*
Added file that includes report and system file collection. Thanks to Jonathan_King for assistance.

This may be a hard drive problem. Open an elevated command prompt and enter chkdsk /r.

Test hard drive as well: HD Diagnostic

Update your nForce drivers: NVIDIA DRIVERS 15.53 WHQL

Update your Creative Sound card drivers as well:

Believe it or not, I just downloaded the drivers for the mobo the other day. I'll attempt to do everything you recommended. Will keep you posted on the results, thank you again.

Updated both drivers sound and video, ran the 5 step scan disk scan, and even HD diagnostic of both tests no problems. There was an option to do the extended test, but I opted out and only did the quick one which I feel is suffice.

Any recommended stress test program I can use to see if it worked?

Just ran Prime 95 for almost 3 1/2 hours or so, seems solid no issues. About to play Starcraft II online, THE TRUE TEST! With everything graphically maxed out so we will see how that goes.

Good to hear that Prime showed no issues. Now if you can just play Starcraft... :)

Okay, so get this, I just got a memory dump AGAIN... *sigh* And all I had running was a stream of an HD anime that runs in flash using Firefox and I was on TeamSpeak.

I have no idea what happened

    Any other suggestions?

P.S. 2 1/2 hours of Starcraft III and it didn't crash once... I don't know what to say.

    Valium hi and welcome

With so many different causes I have to think hardware. Your last crash involved two applications that were using the network so just in case I would update the network driver.

I think given the last ones showed memory that is where the problem lies. I know you ran prime 95, but I would suggest using a different application that runs outside of the operating system. I would

Download a copy of Memtest86 and burn the ISO to a CD using Iso Recorder or another ISO burning program. Boot from the CD, and leave it running for at least 5 or 6 passes.

Let us know if you need further assistance
