Windows 7
Bootmgr is missing

After a while using my laptop with Windows 7 Home Edition I have a problem when starting up my OS system. When I try to start the laptop it give me this message :

"BOOTMGR IS MISSING, Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart"

I've tried to run fixboot and the option to repair the startup problems with the Windows 7 cd, but whitout any results.

I have also scanned for OS'es with bootrec, but he doesn't find any OS ( strange ).
Here you can also find the output of the bcdedit command :

identifier {bootmgr}
device partition=C:
path \bootmgr
description Windows Boot Manager
locale nl-NL
default {default}
displayorder {default}
timeout 30

Windows Opstartlaadprogramma
identifier {default}
device partition=C:
path \Windows\system32\winload.exe
description Windows 7 Home Premium ( hersteld )
locale nl-NL
recoverysequence {...-...-...-....}
recoveryenabled Yes
osdevice partition=C:
systemroot \Windows
Somebody who can help me with this problem?

Windows 7 Home Premium 32 Bit
Copy original file from the installation CD/DVD

Hey there,
Did you try to copy the bootmgr file from the windows installation CD/DVD ?
Try these steps :
1.) Boot from "WINDOWS 7" DVD;
2.) Select "Repair computer";
3.) Select "Cancel" to exit the repair wizard;
4.) You will now get a screen which displays 'command prompt','system restore','memory diagnostics',etc......
5.) Select "command prompt";
6.) Type your "DVD-DRIVE LETTER" in command prompt, press ENTER;
7.) Now if your Windows 7 is installed in C drive, type "copy bootmgr c:\" without codes, press ENTER;
8.) After successful copy type "exit" without codes, press ENTER;
9.) Reboot computer;
10.) Select "start windows normally";
*****NOW YOU ARE DONE*****

If it still persists,
Re-enter the command prompt the same way and type this command :
Bootrec.exe /REBUILDBCD

If the command is successful, close the Command Prompt window.

6. Click “Startup Repair” to perform Windows Startup Repair. After doing these computer will reboot automatically.

If is still persists, reinstall the Operating system...:)
