    "Solve a problem with PSIKey"

I wasn't sure which forum to put this in, but I figure anywhere is better than nothing.

In the last few days, I've had a new problem crop up. It may be two different things, but they seem to happen around the same time. One, about 90% of the time I have more than one window of Internet Explorer open, one of them freezes up and I have to shut it down in Task Manager, which ends up closing all the IE windows. Two, when I check the "Solve PC Issues", I get this issue:

    Solve a problem with PSIKey

    PSIKey has stopped working properly.
An update is available that solves this problem.

Click to download the update from the Protexis Inc. website

    Download instructions
    1. In the File Download dialog box, click Run or Open. If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
    2. Follow the steps in the installation wizard.
I've downloaded the update twice, and it hasn't changed anything.

Are these two problems related? Is one causing the other, or something like that? I'm not a PC genius, and that's why I'm here asking for help. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks,

    Phil
