Bluescreen
I fiddled with the PS2 mouse driver - I was trying to install an Apple Trackpad - unsuccessfully I might add, but that's a different story.
Windows blue screened and gave a message about IRQL NOT EQUAL. I've tried to boot in safe mode and uninstall the driver - its says it needs to reboot for change to take effect, so I do, and it reloads and instantly bluescreens. The message inviting me to reboot so the driver change takes effect comes up too - suggesting no changes were made. The mouse driver is still showing in device manager.
I'm not sure why the PS2 driver is even there - I havent plugged any mouse and the laptop doesnt even have a PS2 port. Maybe windows installed in automatically when it detected the Trackpad. If this PS2 driver is causing the problem, it won't let me install it
Any help much appreciated. Thank you
